Search the community and support articles Windows Windows 10 Search Community member. Hello, I have a problem with installing Windows 10 on my old notebook. I have already installed the Windows there about a year ago without a problem , but it started to get slow so I wanted to do a clean install of the Windows 10 Creators update Everytime I tried to install it the installation stuck at loading screen and I could do nothing else than turn it off.

At first I tried to wait about 10 hours, but it didn't help. The installation always restart computer a few times but than it stuck at Windows logo and white dots animation with apparently no HDD operation.

I read somewhere that I should install drivers during the installation so I did that but it remained the same. When I tried to click the repair instead of install from the DVD and chose to repair the boot settings, it failed after few seconds saying that it couldn't solve the problem. Thank you for all ideas how to fix it. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. I have the same question Report abuse.
